Madrid, February 11, 2025 – SILICIUS Real Estate, a SOCIMI specializing in the long-term management of properties with stable rents, has announced that its three shopping centers La Fira (Tarragona), Thader (Murcia), and Bahía Plaza (Cádiz) closed 2024 with an average increase of 1,2% in visitor footfall and a 3,7% rise in sales by their operators.
During the past year, 17 new brands joined the commercial and leisure offerings of its shopping centers, translating to more than 13,700 m² commercialized, with new anchor stores and top-tier brands added to the commercial mix.
Notably, the incorporation of new uses at the Thader shopping center resulted from an agreement with B&B Hotels to develop a 75-room hotel within the shopping center.
Furthermore, in terms of sustainability, all three shopping centers have received the BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification.
According to Mayte Forján, Asset Manager of Shopping Centers, “it has been a year of growth and the incorporation of new operators that provide a very attractive differential effect for our visitors. The positioning of each shopping center, the professionalism of our operators, the increase in private consumption, and the containment of inflation have had a positive impact on the footfall and sales of our shopping centers.”
