All Silicius assets comply with current accessibility regulations, ensuring that any person, regardless of their abilities, can fully enjoy the spaces and services offered by the buildings.
As part of its commitment to universal accessibility, Silicius maintains its agreement with the Foundation for Accessibility and Social Responsibility (ARS) to assess and certify its shopping centres in accordance with the AIS 1/2018 standard. In addition, the company collaborates with EQA to advance the progressive implementation of the UNE-ISO 170001 standard, with the goal of achieving certification across all its shopping centres by 2026. Accessibility is therefore integrated as a key pillar of the company’s social responsibility.

Applus+ has certified that Silicius has conducted a thorough assessment of its carbon footprint, covering all relevant scopes (1-5) as defined in the ISO 14064-1:2019 standard. The assessment includes direct emissions from fuel combustion and refrigerant leakage (Scope 1), indirect emissions from purchased electricity (Scope 2), and indirect emissions from the value chain, including employee travel, waste generation, and leased assets (Scopes 3-5). The calculated total carbon footprint for 2023 is 1,168.31 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
