In line with the principles of the 2030 Agenda, which outline a new global paradigm for sustainable development, SILICIUS reaffirms its commitment to building a more inclusive, fair and environmentally respectful society. This international agenda is structured around five core pillars — people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships — which are reflected in the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability.
With this vision, SILICIUS consolidates in 2024 the programme “The 12 SILICIUS Causes”, an initiative that transforms the Sustainable Development Goals into tangible monthly actions across all its assets. Through this commitment, the company launches campaigns and strategic collaborations each month focused on social, environmental, educational, cultural and solidarity-based causes such as mental health, animal welfare, hunger relief, inclusive sport or reforestation.
This programme serves as a vehicle to amplify the social impact of SILICIUS’ activity, raise awareness and mobilise employees, operators, visitors and partner organisations. Each cause represents an opportunity to build alliances and contribute to collective challenges, connecting day-to-day business with the SDGs in a tangible and meaningful way.

Silicius maintains a strong commitment to sport as a tool for social transformation, through a distinctive sponsorship model based on its programme “The 12 SILICIUS Causes”. This approach turns rugby into a channel for promoting values such as solidarity, inclusion, mental health and sustainability — going beyond brand visibility.
In 2024, Silicius has strengthened its collaboration with Club de Rugby Majadahonda, Club de Rugby Complutense Cisneros and Alcobendas Rugby Club, driving multiple initiatives with social impact. These include mental health campaigns, environmental actions such as the “eco stand” or Water Day, solidarity collections, the promotion of women’s and inclusive rugby (Mixed Ability), and healthy lifestyle education programmes aimed at schoolchildren.
The company has also facilitated meetings with schools and rugby academies, promoting education in values such as respect, humility, integrity and effort — core principles both in sport and in Silicius’ business culture.
In addition, in 2024, Silicius directly involved its employees in team-building activities linked to the sponsorship, such as the corporate teambuilding event held with Alcobendas Rugby, thus reinforcing the connection between social commitment and the company’s internal culture.
