Madrid, June 3, 2022. SILICIUS Real Estate, a SOCIMI (Spanish REIT) specialized in the management of long-term properties with stable income, has announced the opening of IKIGAI restaurant, belonging to the Escondite group and specialized in Japanese food. The premise is located at number 136 of Velázquez Street, in a privileged area of barrio Salamanca.
The establishment, which has already opened, has an area of 373 sqm and is located in a premise owned by SILICIUS and that previously has been part of the gastronomic history of Madrid, hosting renowned firms such as the Rugantino Casa Tua restaurant.
The opening of this new establishment will allow SILICIUS and IKIGAI to bring to the public of the capital one of the most original and enriching Japanese cuisine proposals in Madrid. In addition, the restaurant, which has several Mediterranean and international inspirations, has opted for an interior design with the style of a New York apartment from the 80’s, which invites to enjoy the creations of its chef Yong Wu Nagahira.
This operation comes just a few months after SILICIUS announced another agreement with the Iskaypet Group, a leading pet care company, for the opening of its first KIWOKO flagship store in Spain, located very close to the IKIGAI restaurant, and which in the past counted on the Vips Group as a tenant for more than 40 years.
The achievement of these agreements is part of the SOCIMI’s strategy to point out the value of its portfolio of assets through rental agreements with quality tenants. In addition, this opening will reinforce the wide gastronomic range of the capital with a new restaurant of great recognition nationally and internationally.
