SILICIUS Real Estate, SOCIMI a SOCIMI (Spanish REIT) specialized in the management of long-term properties with stable income, has strengthened its management team with four new additions, all of them with extensive professional experience. Lucía Céspedes joins SILICIUS as the new head of the company’s financial area, María Reigal Merino arrives as the new head of regulations and compliance, Diana Ormaza as Property Manager of the Square Garden business complex and Patricia Perugini with the role of new Manager of La Fira Shopping Centre (Tarragona).

Lucía Céspedes has more than eight years of experience in financial and audit environments. During her professional career she has worked in several companies in the real estate sector such as Altamira or Coral Homes, in the consulting firm Ernst & Young and in the multinational Gruma International Foods. She holds a Double Degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Navarra, and a Master’s Degree in Financial Statement Auditing and Advanced Accounting from ICAI-ICADE.

As the new financial manager of SILICIUS, Lucía will continue the work that the team has been carrying out during the last year and a half, thus complying with the requirements demanded by the regulator and reinforcing the company’s strategic plan.

For her part, María Reigal Merino has a professional career of more than 20 years in the real estate sector, performing legal advisory tasks in matters of promotion, management and marketing for companies such as Nergosa Madrid, Sociedad de Centros Comerciales de España or La Societe Generale Inmobiliere, among others. In November 2017, she joined MAZABI to work as a legal advisor in the asset management of national and international investment, and in the acquisition of value-added assets and profitability.

Since September 2019 she has been responsible for regulatory compliance, leading the IPO of SILICIUS Real Estate in this area, with the implementation of the Criminal Compliance Model, PBCyFT, Internal Control System, SCIIF and CSR. With a degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, she is also an Expert in Compliance (CESCOM) from the Spanish Association of Compliance.

In the case of Patricia Perugini, she has a professional experience of 22 years. Her career has focused on the management, administration and marketing of Parc Central Shopping Centre (Tarragona). In addition, during the last years she has worked in the public sector in tasks related to the legislation on GDPR, contracting and budget management. She has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Oberta of Catalonia, and has completed her training by completing a master’s degree in Financial Management at the Business Training School of Madrid.

Her appointment as the new manager of La Fira aims to strengthen the human resources that SILICIUS dedicates to the management of this type of assets. Patricia will thus continue the excellent work carried out by Mayte Forján, who will occupy the position of Asset Manager of the shopping centres managed by the company.

In turn, Diana Ormaza has a career of more than eight years in the management of real estate assets, after having worked in companies such as Altamira, Aktua Soluciones and La VOT, where she has served as head of assets. She has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master’s degree in Business Legal Advice from the same university. At SILICIUS, Diana will join Laura Sáez-Bravo’s team as the new Property Manager of the Square Garden business complex, supervising the correct execution of the works and commercialization phase of this asset, one of the most important of the company.

These four new additions are part of SILICIUS’ commitment to strengthen its management team and continue to promote its strategic growth plan.
