Madrid, August 3, 2023. SILICIUS Real Estate, a SOCIMI specialized in managing longterm properties with stable rents, has concluded the renewal of its collaboration agreement with four rugby clubs located in the Community of Madrid and Castilla y León, reaffirming its commitment to this sport, which it has been supporting for the third consecutive year.
The renewal agreement has been signed with three teams from the Community of Madrid (Club de Rugby Complutense Cisneros, Club de Rugby Majadahonda, and Alcobendas Rugby), and one from Castilla y León (Palencia Rugby), where SILICIUS will continue to have a prominent presence as the main sponsor. As a novelty for the 2023/2024 season, and under the signed agreements, the national women’s first team of Majadahonda’s club will be named SILICIUS Club de Rugby Majadahonda, while the senior men’s team of Alcobendas will be named SILICIUS Alcobendas Rugby.
Additionally, through these sponsorships, a schools tournament or event and a women’s tournament will be held under the SILICIUS brand, in line with what has already been carried out with schools over the past years. Likewise, monthly solidarity actions will be promoted.
Under this new agreement, SILICIUS will continue to support the various activities that these four rugby clubs undertake both on and off the field through their men’s and women’s teams, as well as their youth categories. The signing of these agreements is part of SILICIUS’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategic plan, which focuses on its commitment to the community and individuals, carrying out initiatives such as its support for rugby, including clubs, men’s and women’s teams, as well as their training schools.
