Madrid, June 6, 2022. SILICIUS Real Estate, a SOCIMI specialized in the management of long-term properties with stable income, has held a day of awareness about the importance of caring for our planet framed in the celebrations of World Environment Day.
This initiative has been carried out in the shopping centres managed by SILICIUS: Bahía Plaza (Los Barrios, Cádiz), Thader (Murcia) and La Fira (Reus, Tarragona). In this celebration, each of the shopping centres of the SOCIMI has had different information points where they have disseminated the values and claims that this date promotes every year at an international level.
As an example of this commitment to the environment, SILICIUS and the MAZABI GROUP have launched the campaign ‘Active for a sustainable future’, an initiative with which they intend to strengthen their commitment to the environment through an ambitious collaborative reforestation program, focused on contributing to the implementation of new green areas in different parts of the Spanish geography where the group develops its business activity.
The reforestation proposal aims to reinforce the collaborative spirit between the different actors and interest groups related to the business activity of SILICIUS and the MAZABI GROUP within the framework of a participatory and educational project that lays the foundations for a more sustainable future.
These activities are part of the strategic plan of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that SILICIUS and the MAZABI GROUP are implementing during this year, and which focuses on the commitment of the entire company for the environment, society and corporate governance.
