Madrid, March 4, 2021. SILICIUS Real Estate, SOCIMI (Spanish REIT) specialized in the management of long-term properties with stable income, has recently closed the agreement for the implementation of six new brands in its three Shopping Centres, Thader (Murcia), Bahía Plaza (Los Barrios, Cádiz) and La Fira (Reus, Tarragona). With these additions, the three centres have a total average occupancy of 81%, as of February 2021, with a total leased area of ​​78,404 sqm.

Thader, in line with its commitment to make the usual Shopping Centre concept evolve, welcomes the new firm in the restaurant sector, Battô Sweet & Drinks, specialized in cocktails, smoothies and unique snacks. Likewise, MASlife, the multi-brand store of the MásMóvil Group, has signed a contract with this same centre with the aim of offering personalized advice on all the Group’s own brands (Yoigo, MásMóvil, Llamaya, Pepephone and Lebara).

For its part, Aki Sushi returns to the Bahía Plaza Shopping Centre after a short parenthesis. Thus, the Japanese food restaurant opened its doors again yesterday, Wednesday, March 3, returning to the Bahía Plaza Shopping Centre, where it was born as a brand in 2018 with its first restaurant.

Finally, La Fira welcomes the Italian firm Barelly, dedicated to the manufacture of bags and accessories, and the nail company Nice Nails. In addition to these two new openings, is added the reopening of the La Casa de las Carcasas, which is moved to the ground floor of the Shopping Center.

“At SILICIUS we continue working to improve and strengthen our offer in the three Shopping Centres we manage, to bring users closer to the latest market trends in fashion, footwear, accessories, perfumery, household items, new technologies and sports,” explains Mayte Forján Arce, Asset Manager of Shopping Centres at SILICIUS.

The opening of these new stores takes place just a few months after SILICIUS executed a global investment of 6.2 million euros in its Thader (Murcia), Bahía Plaza (Cádiz) and La Fira (Reus, Tarragona) Shopping Centres, with the triple objective of improving these equipments, offering better benefits and guaranteeing a safer stay for visitors, employees and operators.
